
About Exadon Facilitators
Exadon Facilitators are those who have successfully completed the Exadon Facilitator Certification Program, led by Exadon Instructors from Kodo Cultural Foundation.
Exadon Facilitators design their classes based on the philosophy and principles of the Exadon program, as learned during the certification program.

Meet Our Team
Dr. Yoshinori Morimoto
Lecturer, Co-founder of the Exadon Program
Dr. Morimoto was born in Ehime, Japan, and graduated from the Niigata University School of Medicine. He is a board-certified psychiatrist and also holds designations as a mental health physician, dementia support physician, occupational physician, and sports doctor. Dr. Morimoto has been collaborating with Kodo Cultural Foundation to develop and promote the Exadon program.

Masami Miyazaki
Instructor

Originally from Kumamoto in southern Japan, Masami Miyazaki became a Kodo member in 2001. Through domestic and international concert tours, school performances, and workshops, she gained vast experience as a performer, artistic director, and instructor.
Always smiling, Miyazaki has an unquestionable ability to make everyone around her feel good. Her sunny, comical character bridges language and culture gaps with ease, making her popular with people from around the world. In 2014, Miyazaki began working at Sado Island Taiko Centre where she warmly welcomes people of all ages for a wide range of workshops.
Masami is involved in the development of the Exadon program, and works alongside facilitators around the world to guide Exadon practices and workshops in various locations, leading the growth and advancement of the Exadon initiative.
Tomohiro Yonetani
Instructor

Tomohiro Yonetani hails from Shizuoka, Japan. He began playing taiko in a local team as a first grader at elementary school.
From 2015, Yonetani spent two years as a Kodo apprentice studying taiko as part of a broad curriculum including bamboo flutes, song, and dance.
In April 2017, he became a workshop instructor at Sado Island Taiko Centre, where his friendly manner makes him popular with children.
As an Exadon instructor, Yonetani has also been engaged in activities aimed at promoting health and fostering connection among older adults.
Eiichi Saito
Instructor

Eiichi Saito was born in Hiroshima, Japan. Since joining Kodo in 1982, he has been a featured performer on domestic and international tours, as well as in recordings and collaborations with artists of varying genres. For over three decades, Saito has captivated and invigorated audiences worldwide with his energetic performances. In addition to his stage activities, he shares his passion for creative exchange by leading workshops that convey the power of taiko through self-discovery.
At the same time, he facilitates dynamic and powerful workshops, sharing the appeal of taiko with people around the world. In 2022, he participated as a taiko workshop instructor at the Australia & New Zealand Taiko Conference (ANZTC), where he also led Exadon workshops.
*An instructor refers to someone who is responsible for training Exadon facilitators.
Exadon Facilitator Certification Course
The Exadon Facilitator Certification Course was held three times through online sessions between 2022 and 2023.
Throughout the course, participants gained a comprehensive understanding of the Exadon program structure and the principles necessary to serve as effective facilitators.The goal of the course was to enable each participant to design and lead their own taiko-based Exadon workshop as a certified Exadon facilitator.
As of 2025, more than 30 people have completed the course and are actively leading workshops both in Japan and abroad.
